Hi,
Thanks for such a quick reply and for the helpful links. I guess my main query is whether this means I need to look at getting a new phone or if it's a problem I won't even know I have? I don't know if this is something you might know a bit more about?

Hi,

My phone (Note 20 Ultra 5G) was recently booked in for repair (cracked back glass replacement), however it was unable to be completed because they found an issue with the UWB loop back process. I was hoping someone could explain to me what this actually means and what it means for the longevity of my phone?

Thanks for your help!

It's a problem in so much that it prevented the engineer from carrying out your repair. Will it affect your phone in other ways? Unfortunately, I'm just another user much like yourself and have no technical expertise. Besides, you don't know what other damage may have occurred.

If it was me, then I'd at least ask for a quote to repair. You'd then be in a better position to make a decision regarding a replacement device.
