September update has caused notification issues

Note 20 Ultra - Since the September security update I can't get Whatsapp notifications from contacts. Groups still work. Also I can't open links from facebook . I've checked the policy and security settings in both the apps and the phone but can't find any fix for either issue. Samsung need to roll out a fix urgently because I'm due and upgrade and for the first time in years thinking of switching from samsung. The notifications thing is important as I have an elderly mother and a pregnant daughter and I need to get urgent messages

FB still not working but that could be FB. I think I fixed the notifications. It was actually a Watch 4 update on the same day that was a problem. Because notification on the watch were active it wasn't notifying on the phone. The option to still have phone notifications wasn't there but I updated again today and now I can get notifications on both
