Does the 60hz refresh rate saves more battery on the Galaxy Note 20 ultra compared to S21 120hz refresh rate?

Yes it will do, my laptop can do the same switch to extend battery life instead of running the panel at 165Hz all the time

The Note 20 Ultra has an adaptive display
So although it will do 120Hz in the setting. It's not 120Hz all the time.
Higher refresh rates do consume more battery, as will the WQHD setting.
I always leave mine all on
But if you feel you need to extend your battery life, then just turn it off

60Hz will always save battery life over 120hz regardless of the phone. But you can also use 60Hz on the S21 so not sure why you are comparing 2 different devices with different refresh rate settings?

Leave the adaptive display on and screen set at WQHD with the brightness set high.
Battery still lasts me the day so happy to enjoy using the display in all its glory

All my Samsung phones for a while
Had the Note 20 Ultra but upgraded to the Z Fold 3
I also have the S22 Ultra as well

I use 60Hz on my S21U. IIRC it saves about 2 hours battery life with it off.
