Next Note ?

Hi everyone.

So there was no surprise that Samsung decided not to bring out a new Note this year, to my (and many others') disappointment.

I've been buying the new Note every year for so many years, I've lost count.

Does anybody know what is its future ? Will they bring it out next year or was the project cancelled altogether? Have I missed any official announcement?

I appreciate the efforts and hard work that was put into making these fold/flip smartphones, but I like mine to be solid, made from one piece 😊

Yes unfortunately according to Samsung there was an issue with certain internal parts that meant they couldn't release a new Note in 2021.

However DJ Koh CEO did also say the Note line wasn't being discontinued.

So hopefully we'll see a new Note in 2022 or maybe a merge between the Samsung Galaxy s series and the Note line !

Thanks for replying.

I'm surprised how there were issues with some internal parts for the Note but not for the two new gadgets 😄

Anyway the good news is that the Note will live on, which is great!

A merge between the S series and the Note - that sounds promising. Guess we will just have to wait and see what 2022 will bring ⭐

Samsung looks to have concentrated on their Flip and Fold phone's this year which has most likely taken up their resources along with dropping prices / giving sweeter deals on the previous Flip and Fold phone's @MadalinK too.

Throughout the years the Note and Galaxy S phone's have pulled closer and closer together in regards to features and software so it seems a natural move to merge them.

I have no insider knowledge and my opinions are my own and not Samsungs.

Yeah that's all great. But nothing worth upgrading to. TBH it's all just the same. Focus on a camera. Well why not focus on some groundbreaking research. And give us something that will wow the public. Instead of same boring tat. I've got a ultra note. Nothing ultra about it. Bixby is *****. And I phones are pants. It's saturation overload. I need a phone that makes my life easy. New note. What's it Gona have a better display. Bigger battery, taller pen..wow. just wow. How about some real innovation.

I think they just skipping this year and you may get one more note out of them next year
