Has anyone been able to change the voice on google maps? To something less boring like Morgan Freeman. Was able to do it on sat navs years ago......

Hi @Ty89

You could try the following.

Go into your search bar and type in text to speech.

Tap on it and you'll see…

My apologies if this does not achieve what your wanting to do via the phone's settings.

Another possible option is to look at the settings within the Google Maps App itself.

Launch Google Maps App and tap your profile picture and choose settings.

Tap on Navigation Settings.

Then on Voice Selection.

At the moment, you can only use the TTS packages available for google/samsung. There may be other TTS apps out there, but I'm guessing they will be limited with regards to celebrity voices. I have a sexy Russian female voice narrating to me in English! LOL
