May Update Issues

Hi,

So since updating the May update, several things went wrong on my Note 20.

One in particular, was Android Auto.

Plugged into the stereo via USB, you can unlock your phone, use it etc.

Since the update, if you unlock your handset, it in essence, re establishes the connection.

So it reboots AA on the stereo. You lose maps, whatever music is playing etc.

Samsung have totally ignored me on this.

In fact, their support has been atrocious.

It also impacted the cameras operation.

And the DND function on my Galaxy Watch.

With DND enabled, it still shows notifications.

June update has not fixed any of these.

Be interesting to know if anyone has the same.?

Hi, it is.
It's always worked fine via USB and you can lock unlock all you want.

And by WiFi, it still does work like that perfectly.

Since May update, it just glitches out via USB for some reason.

A bit like my camera used to work as it should, opening always in camera mode, not last mode used.
Since the May update, it went back to opening in last mode (the option selection is as it should be).

And now the Galaxy Watch notifications thing has happened too.!

I know updates will nearly always cause issue with something.
But this one is particularly annoying.

I have removed it, and added it once again, and earlier on it was working fine.
So I'll monitor it and see.

Proper to the update, it wasn't necessary to make it a trusted device tho.

It's gone back to doing the same thing again now.
So maybe it was connecting via WiFi still. Which it isn't now as I turned it off.

Was quite excited then for a while.

Just ignore me now.
So poor in fact, I don't think I'll buy another one of their products now.

But I have this phone for 18 mouths to go. And really want it working correctly.
