Microphone quality poor

Hello. I've had my galaxy note 9 for a little under 2 weeks now. I love the phone so much. But one problem I'm having which is a big problem for me is when I'm recording video clips of live music and the volume gets to loud it's like the microphone clips and stops the recording of the sound getting to high. It sounds awful. I had a cheap £100 android phone before this and the microphone recording quality on it is so much better. I expected a £1000 plus phone to have amazing recording quality. Has anyone else had this problem

To be honest I personally do not take alot of video clips but the ones I have taken have been fine.

I assume your mic is ok for calls and play back of videos from YouTube etc ?

A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic test on the phone for you if needed.

Sorry to hear about this. Try this test: Simply open up Samsung Members > Get Help > Interactive Checks > Microphone > Follow on screen instructions.
