Screen Transition Effect not working! - in biometrics preference

Hi guys,

The "Screen trantition effect" toggle under Biometrics preference does not seem to work.

I'd like to turn off the ripple effect animation when you unlock your phone via fingerprint sensor. It seems to be always on regardless of this toggle switch.

On my previous S10 after Android10, I could turn this off and fingerprint sensor worked faster. Disappointed that it doesn't work here.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I've just turned this off on my Note 10+ 5G and the 'ripple' effect is still there on my phone too ?

I'm wondering if this in fact turns some other type of connected transition off and not the ripple effect.

i.e turns off the slight transition delay when using the fps to unlock !

Same on my A53 5g its greyed out switch
