Why is the delivery date on my TV in 2 weeks' time?

I bought QE55Q80CATXXU and its saying it won't be here till around the 12th of December is this because of high demand or something else?

Mine also gave me a 2 week date which Wednesday now so getting near ..... in this day and age its a long time to wait

Lately in general I think there have been some supply chain issues. orders can also be delayed due to logistics or technical issues. Realise it is frustrating for some customers.

Unfortunately, yes, in some parts of the country there have been delays to deliveries being made by our courier partners, DPD and Panther, due to adverse weather conditions.

As well as @JAMES4578 guidance, please also remember Black Friday so sales likely to have been higher than usual.

Samsung take the orders, pass them to their Delivery Partner who then arranges delivery. The Delivery Partner can only deliver what stock they have.

It isn't great and I'm not defending Samsung's processes here. But that is how they work.

Yeah I'm not complaining I'm assuming it's taking longer then usual because they haven't got any stock and need the time to build the TV and the talk about snow is probably also affecting it just seems so long compared to usual delivery times
