Hi all

Ive just bought a Fold 7 via samsung.com on a O2 plan.

Seems im about to end up in the same loop as everyone else with what appears to be a shocking broker between samsung and UK network operators.

Instantly after placing my order it has been placed 'on hold' for basic security checks.

Does anyone have a contact for them, there's been no contact made and seemingly this order js just going to cancel like everyone else's at this step.

I have a near perfect credit file- this makes little to no sense and I will not be purchasing a samsung again after this

Probably something to do with O2
O2 would normally need some extra details.
Check you emails and especially in Spam/Junk folders
Could be there are dome details missing from the application etc
I had assumed it was just an ID issue but no one has made contact. O2 are compleatly un aware. But I have ported a number away and that seems to be going through according to EE but no sign of any contact from O2, mobileshop or samsung.
Mobile shop have no contact number so im just stuck in limbo about to loose my number

I'd be less concerned if the reviews of mobileshop online were decent, they are not.

So you didn't buy from Samsung.com as stated in your post, but a third party retailer.
Got to admit that that website doesn't particularly work for me as I think my phone is blocking some stuff on it
So unsure about that retailer and if they are OK to use

0345 470 4000 is the contact number for mobile shop. Contacted them this morning as the same thing happened to me on my order last night. Recieved an email saying they had my order then 3 min later another email saying my order had been delayed for security checks same as everyone else.

Pretty much the same from both mobileshop and Samsung. Ill give them the 4i hours they say but otherwise I'll just cancel the order and go direct to O2, no harm just a bit annoying.
