Fake Samsung promotional offer on Galaxy S series

Samsung offers promotional discount for partners (such as Edenred) through a dedicated portal hosted by Samsung.

For example, there is currently a promotional discount for Samsung S25 Ultra (999 €) or Samnsung S25+ (799€).

The offer expires today.

Yesterday I tried several times to order a smartphone, but each time the paiement is stucking and it is impossible to order anything.

I contacted the official Samsung support and they indicate there is a known issue on the paiement module and they are working on it and it will be fixed before the end of the week-end. Also, the support indicates me there is no way to follow the incident resolution, indicating only to check Samsung website without a clear indication about where to check..

My understanding here is that Samnsung display fake offers and will make the paiement possible again once the promotional campain will be ended.

Now I think I will purchase a Google Pixel instead of a Samsung smartphone.

Nothing you described points to a fake offer. I expect nothing else. If you find Pixel phone better offer go for it

This is a checkout error
But I bet it will be fixed when promotional offer will be ended. With no way to clam the offer once it will be ended. So, from my point of vue, this is a promotional scam

Calling something fake just because there is an issue is rubbish. Why would Samsung not want to sell a device? Really???

It is also worth noting that these EPP schemes (which have regular offers) keep being updated. Sometimes an offer ends and is replaced by a better one, other times you may have to wait a few weeks.

But they do come around.

2 different computers, and different browsers. Tested also with several accounts.

Support confirmed this is an issue on Samsung side but with no visibility nor possibility to order 😕

After 30 attempts within the weekend, checkout has worked at 23:45, 15 minutes before the end of the offer.

But Samsung support was a shame in terms of communication on this topic...
