Hi,

I am getting a Trade in Query and warning that my phone will be locked in 72 hours but I haven't traded this phone in. I also purchased this phone from the Samsung website a few months ago so there is no way that I could have physcially traded this phone in and I haven't traded anything else in.

I have no clue what is going on and am very anxious because my phone contains my livelyhood. I would appreciate any and all help because I haven't traded anything in.

You can actually trade in your phone on the website but as you didn't I would urgently recommend you contact support, as they will lock it

You may wish to send a copy of your proof of purchase to verify that you did not use the Trade In service, or have it to hand, as this may be requested by the team as part of their investigation. Maybe easier through Samsung App, phones takes forever

You may want to search forum for shop, support, I don't have it but I remember a mod posting it before or one of the Samsung smarty pants may have it and jump in

I would back up your phone as if they lock it you may lose access to it

From my experience if you email the trade in team tonight, you'll get a response tomorrow...

Trick here is not to wait by asking questions on here, email them asap so they can look into it asap for you.

Hoping you get it sorted out quickly and without issue 🫠🫠
