I have been informed by Samsung that I have a rewards point balance of 8556 points worth,get ready for this 20p.I know it's 1st.of April but surely this isn't right.

I do not know what you are referring to the 20p. If you have some rewards points and try to buy something from the Samsung Online Shop, you can partially pay for it with your points. At Checkout, you have to tick paying with reward points and select how many points you want to cash.

In my case I have

12,739 P (Worth £12.74),

So, in your case, 8,556 should be (£8.56)

To check it, you need to login into your account, Click/tap on the icon of your account and in the drop down menu select My rewards.

You don't get that much value to your points, once it get calculated at the checkout section when purchasing. So you need a huge lot to really benefit.
