UK release date pushed back?

I noticed on the Samsung UK website that the date for delivery for S22/S22+ been pushed back to 25 March. I pre-ordered on 9 February on the day of the announcement and it was for delivery on 11 March.

Has anyone heard otherwise?

Are early pre-orders still being delivered on 11 March?

Appreciate any thoughts on this? Thanks....

I don't know why they still say it's in stock on there samsung uk web site as should say out of stock or order if it's not coming till end of next month.

I was lucky enough get mine on 25 Feb as I pre-ordered my s22 ultra through my mobile network I'm on for upgrade, now they are showing some models not coming till about 4wks time.

As more S22 and S22+ pre orders get filled. Delivery dates will get moved.
Trouble with pre orders, you have to get in early as with very popular devices, there's usually a rush to get orders in early

It's just standard for pre-orders. They'll have a batch for fulfillment by a given date (11th), then they'll be a cutoff for orders for that date and the next batch allocated the 25th and repeat this etc until demand drops and it's down to next day!
Go by what your order tracking shows online, and given previous pre-orders I've made (and others on here) you may well find you get the magic DPD email about delivery a few days before the 11th!

That makes sense because there seems to be a very high demand for this S series compared to others in the past.

Putting my neck on the line here but I'd be surprised if they didn't start shipping some of the pre orders by this time next week.
I got my S20 & Galaxy Watch 4 pre-orders over a week before official launches.

I pre-ordered S22 white color on 9th Feb, but then a few days later I decided to change the color, and I requested Samsung for it, but they said we can't do it and you just cancel your order and make a new order. So I did that but now they say that the delivery will be on the 25th instead of the 11th (which was my original order delivery date).
Now the problem is that I am flying out of the country on the 16th. Is there any way possible to get my order before the 16th? I am really worried, please help me.

Your prediction maybe right on that! I'll keep an eye on my order tracking this week and next week. All good for me, increases my bill credit so I can use that to pay for a couple of monthly bills 😁

I ordered mine on the 23rd Feb and it was delivered on the 26th. I guess I was the lucky one

Just looked. My order shows as Processing but I've also noticed that Samsung processed the full payment from my credit card this morning (it had been sat as pending transaction nearly 3 weeks). Now I'm not getting my hopes up, but....

I'm still waiting for the S22. Hopefully will be delivered on or before 11 March. Most users of the Ultra were getting their deliveries before 25 February!

I order mine yesterday for next day delivery, there was nothing stated about pre-order and I selected today 4th as the delivery day, but when I received my email it has the pre-order 25/03/22 However they have taken payment, any idea when I can expect my phone?

Was it a S22 / 22+ and from Samsung Shop UK or another retailer? I've just gone & tried a new order and pre-orders are now saying 31/3 delivery so looks like you got yours in before the date was pushed back again. The delivery date should only be selectable at or from the release date given - so not sure how the 4th was available.

As for when you'll receive it; I'd hazard a guess that it would be on or a couple of days before the 25th. I had expected some of the 1st pre-orders (including mine) with a release date of 11/3 to have started arriving today but doesn't seem that way. They'll fulfil the orders in batches and availability.

I originally ordered the S22 Ultra from samsung.com it showed that the 512gb variant was in stock and I could choose the delivery date of the 4th and DPD would deliver, but the order confirmation email showed a date of the 25th apparently per the other replies this is not uncommon, I have since cancelled the order I placed directly with Samsung.com and ordered the same device through Amazon (Samsung store) which should be delivered before 10.00pm tomorrow 🙏🏽

Just checked again on Amazon and they are saying 1-2 months for the S22 Ultra black 512 some of the other variations are saying 11th march.

Ah, mines the S22+ which isn't officially released until next week. I've seen on some forums that people have ordered Ultras, got confirmations, and then orders have been cancelled days later and refunded. Some people seem to have had more luck going straight to providers.
Might be just to order and a waiting game
