S21 upgrade and S20+ trade in value error?

Hi guys for a few days i've been waiting to get an email from samsung allowing me to upgrade however I havent received any and upon calling Samsung support been told i cant upgrade early apparently which sucks.

Anyway so then what i decided to do was see if i can pay off my current balance and trade in the handset

when I ordered it said the handest was worth £540 trade in so i instantly added it and completed the order, my friends also had problems with upgrading so i also told them about this method however for them the same phone S20+ is only showing up as £450 now im wondering maybe there was an error when i was ordering and this may lead to Samsung not honoring the £540 trade in value? What do you guys think about this?

I would expect them to honour the price they offered as long as you didn't make any mistakes when entering the details of the phone

Hopefully so, just double-checked for a second had a mini heart attack as apparently there is a standard non 5G model of the S20+ but definitely the correct phone according to the model number phew nows just to hoping they honour im still a little worried lol but maybe just overthinking

Samsung did change their pricing of trade in after 14th Jan. I found a loss of £50 myself when I ordered the next morning.

I would double check and not assume the original £540. The pricings by lunaticore would agree with this assumption.

The change in price has stopped me from ordering, principal of the matter is allowing 1 day to check all the specs is not enough and dropping the trade price, has now cost Samsung a sale as I will not not buy

would u know the trade price for s8 plus. I haven't come across it online. I have asked samsung and they have no clue.

think they may well have annoyed a few by doing that ! I looked on 14th and it was £540 but the next day, when I worked out if I could afford it, it had dropped to £450 ,!

Hi, double checked with samsung support they assured me that this is normal and trade in prices change so if i got it at £540 then they will honour that deal

guys, I have a damaged S10+ and first offered £270, went back in few hours later to confirm all and new value was £240...must only be so many handsets at a value then lowers the more they get, makes sense! all ordered though, S21 ultra 5g...
