It could be a bit of a game changer, even with Battery replacement though performance optimisation will decline over a long period due to the software demands. storage capacity may also be a Factor, imagine though not many want to predominantly use the same Smartphone for seven years.

Hi Lovely People.

This could be huge if replaceable batteries becomes the norm again.

I have always questioned the point of 7 years software updates if the batteries won't last that long.

This would possibly also make the S27 Ultra a great buy next year if Samsung decides to lead the charge .

https://www.t3.com/tech/phones/new-eu-battery-regulations-could-change-iphones-and-samsung-phones-forever-and-were-not-complaining

Yes at last but I wonder if there is control on the price.

Either way it would mean a tear up of mobile designs, as the intent is easy repairs, so maybe back to snap on back covers ?

The argument would be if it would affect the water resistance of the phone.

Companies could offer one free or charged store replacement 🤔 within 5 years.

This is where Apple beats Samsung and all the others, you book, walk in, checked, if covered, you get a replacement swap.

Samsung, no shop nearby, all controlled by third parties (who want to make extra), even if accepted, then weeks to send off, no device in the meantime, if lucky you get it back without the usual "we spotted a blemish, your not covered"

Interesting. I always have an urge to try them then watch hundreds of comparison videos and then give up realising how much functions I will miss compared to Android.😂

You'd be surprised. How many people would want to use the same phone as long as they want.

Also look at the mkbhd and whosetheboss latest videos.

Tech is kinda expanding and stagnating at the same time. Everyone is doing everything.
Lines are being blurred.

Companys will make it more difficult to change batterys so only there engineers have the equipment and know how to do it or by changing a battery by non official companys will break your guarantee
