Samsung officially launched Hearapy on March 30, 2026, a free mobile app designed to combat motion sickness using specialized sound frequencies. Developed in collaboration with Nagoya University in Japan, the app provides a non-invasive alternative to medication. [1, 2, 3, 4]

How It Works

The Science: The app plays a precise 100 Hz bass sine wave (referred to by researchers as "sound spice") at a volume of 80 to 85 dB.
Vestibular Stimulation: This specific frequency stimulates the otolithic organs in the inner ear, which detect linear acceleration and gravity, helping to reset the balance system and activate sympathetic nerves.

I'd rather take the pills, especially when travelling over the sea or on long bus travels at least i know they work, yes they make you sleepy but that's the idea as it takes the mind off and eases the balance your ear picks up.😊

I am a bit cautious about this feature too as I have some damaged crystals in my ears but I would still try it to see if it works. So far I tried alot of different stuff and medications but they don't really work on me. I am more curious to know what those sounds sound like.
