Interesting second advert I received this one from Costco, pushing a 2-year deal.

I keep saying Samsung, especially for £2k ZFOLDs needs to up their game

£6.60 a month for easy, quick repairs, and accident covered (no quiible) theft and loss, plus 247 priority care.

certainly Samsung care plus needs to be more competitive, an enhancement though was announced early in the new year for new policies and the rollout of 175 walk in repair centres across Europe https://news.samsung.com/uk/samsung-unveils-enhanced-samsung-care-device-protection-plans-across-europe

You can get even better cover from your bank I've got gold cover for £5 a month covers screen, liquid and accidental damage cover and theft 🙏

I haven't had a need to use my Care+ yet 🙏... but on my last three devices I have paid for it for at least a year. When the device is a year old then it generally means it is worth half or less of its original cost and I am happier taking the 'risk'.

Fold 7 at £2149 is an expensive replacement... maybe I will leave this running for 2 years. They do run it for three years now I believe.

It costs me £9.50 paid monthly. This doesn't include theft... but just the accidental damage. As I said i have never used it though, so it remains to be seen by myself, if the coverage is all it is cracked up to be.
