While many use AI video for useless AI slop (thanks Open AI for shut downing Sora 🤭), some individuals or groups make surprisingly high-quality films. I think sad Sora was dropped by Open AI, but i dodn think its dropped as they are working on a one stop app.

Sora for me opened the scope for anyone to make short clips, then maybe more once beyond the initial slop.

I think its another sign of big tech realising AI is a double edged sword, for me more in favour of the everyday person, which they don't like.

Sad, yes, but maybe OpenAI is trying to avoid legal entanglements, and I read that Sora was actually at a loss even with its subscribers. It's sad to see so many people using AI for stupid things. Their latest trick is to drive Gemini crazy and get him into a loop. So that Gemini repeats to infinity: End.Bye, wait, bye, wait, bye, bye, bye 🙄. People don't even think about wasting already expensive resources like that. And with video, the consumption is even higher, and 90% is really AI slop, unfortunately, those 10% of quality ones suffered.

100% and i think big tech has a few issues:

1. AI Spend is eyewatering and no ROI insight

2. AI Control, is empowering anyone to be an expert (take with a pinch of salt)

3. AI Blowback, like todays US court ruling against Meta

Big Tech just want easy big profits and no ownership or responsibility.
