Unpacked 26H2 - Fold, Flip, what i want to see

Looking forward to hopefully seeing a few long-awaited items at the second half of 2026 Unpacked.

I have owned all but the first generations of both, so keen.

ZFOLD8 - I keep saying a S26U level of camera, battery is fine and AppleCare+ type cover

ZFLIP8 - I actually cannot think of anything to improve it, just AppleCare+ type cover

I will be all over a fold 8, assuming a good trade price and a few improvements. I dont have any interest in a wide 8 though... I dont want a passport form... happy with the standard fold 7 form to be fair.

A wish list of improvements i would like;

Anti glare internal screen.

Improved telephoto camera. I am quite happy with the 200mp main of the fold 7, but zoom is where things fall a bit flat.

Ideally a return of s-pen functions... maybe this new technological advance that samsung have been mentioning in leaks recently means that could be possible without a digitiser.

Hopefully not a huge price tag over the £2149 of last year's top model !!

Everything else I believe the fold 7 has it covered. If at least some of these are not in the new fold 8 then I will just stick with fold7 as it is an amazing phone in itself.

Yep, definitely not keen on the iFold style passport form, reminds me of the MS Duo, did not like that ratio.

I do feel IF the ZFLIP8 got S26U cameras, i would ditch the ZFOLD.

I think unless a good deal or something well beyond a battery increase or another chip, i'll stay put.

That said, our ZFOLD7 and ZFLIP7 are barely 8mths old !!!

Also, if it tips over the £2k, I definitely want AppleCare+ level after care.

Hopefully there will be newer sensors, larger battery and faster charging speeds too.

Battery and 45W charging has been rumoured, but even Samsung know camera is priority #1, £2k device deserves the top camera
