Interesting though i find the washing machine design💩 what Interested me more than a crease free fold (never bothered me with flips or folds) is the AI Pen.

Super slim foldable phone with functionality for SPen Support. Something Samsung could have done and I still don't understand why they didn't do with the Fold7. I am sure they have the technology but they just prefer to go cheap. All I am expecting every launch is for another feature to be cut off and Samsung to motivate that it wasn't used or it's been cut because I don't know what regulations or something while they are still going happily on other brands. Samsung used to be the innovator on the market. I don't really understand what is going on with them.

The S Pen has never done it for me, even back in my Note slab days and after, I rarely if ever, used it.

But i do feel Samsung just refining the ZFOLD, ZFLIP with improvement iterations is not going to cut it in what is becoming a competitive sector, moreso if Apple launch the iFold, or iFlip.

Disussing earlier with my son we thought 3D holographic graphic display are what we need 😎

I think the V6 from Honor likely to be more straight forward and of course we expect the Fold 8 in the summer. Could we see Samsung offering significant improvements in the Fold arena?

I use the spen on my fold 4 everyday.

I am refusing to upgrade until spen support returns to the fold line up.
I'm still salty over the micro SD removal.

Instead of the digitiser required, I'm sure they can use the new privacy pixels to create a nib matrix.

I am occasionally but oftenly use SPen either on my phone or on tablet and it's still a useful tool to have.

Recall at S25 Unoacked I asked and a few others, part of the response from the VP of PD division was, from their analysis a low use feature, but the room did get heated about it, oddly asking those who were upset, turned out the never even used the S Pen.

That said I thought it was the slim design and inclusion of qi2 magnets that killed it off, but seems the S26 missed that boat.

Not sure what else they can do, for me surely a S26U level of camera is missing, but beyond that the design envelope is pretty firm so aside from more folds, a different fold, there isn't much left to do.

I read the Flip may get two covers screens, no sure what benefit that would bring...

I reckon Samsung have peaked and hopefully working on the next innovation, hopefully still keeping the flip and fold.

The speculation is that the S Pen will return to the Z Fold 8 though nothing definitive on that. Word earlier that Samsung is working on new Technology that does not require a digitiser. only ever tested Folds and whilst I am not the biggest user of the S Pen still value it.
