I'll be honest, it's one of the only unique features in recent history. The horizontal lock is quite a big feature I'm liking too.

Think I would find the Horizontal lock to be of more value frankly,still the privacy screen is innovative.

Tbh this doesn't surprise me, they have never been shy trying different innovations in their products. There's also the quality of the hardware Samsung produce, they always feel better in hand than the other Android smartphones.
