      <description>&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;I may be a members star on here... but we are all simply just customers at the end of the day.&amp;nbsp;As i have spent many years on the community and i see the trends that tend to occur every year on year.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;Like many many others,&amp;nbsp;I pre-registered for the Unpacked event a couple of weeks early, and for the discount codes.&amp;nbsp;Being completely honest whilst I type this message on my fold 7, I really wasnt planning or considering buying an S26 anyway, but this got me thinking &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thinking_face:"&gt;🤔&lt;/span&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;There are so many customers in this same situation that did NOT get their code sent.&amp;nbsp;Unfortunately this debacle happens every single release date.&amp;nbsp;Some will get their codes, and many others will not receive anything !!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;B&gt;As an idea Samsung, why not start sending these out days BEFORE the event&lt;/B&gt;.&amp;nbsp;It is understood it all becomes a mad rush to send them on unpacked evening... but where is the benefit in waiting until this peak moment to send them out ??&amp;nbsp;It doesnt surely destroy any secrets or cause issues by sending discount codes two or three days earlier.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Question:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;B&gt;How many possible sales for preorders could Samsung have lost by simply not completing their promise to provide the required discount codes ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;Some people have their finger on the trigger and have every intention to buy the new release.&amp;nbsp;They are prepared with wallet open to buy,&amp;nbsp;and want to get in the preorders early.&amp;nbsp;They want their code ready to click the button. The discounts dont come and they are waiting and waiting in anticipation.&amp;nbsp;A&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;fter a couple of days and a disappointed feeling of being let down, they change their decision and decide not to buy the new phone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;Samsung... if you are listening to this post from a community star &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":glowing_star:"&gt;🌟&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;member;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;B&gt;'Samsung, you definately need to get better at this !!&lt;/B&gt;&amp;nbsp;If people subscribe early to receive a promotion and that is in plain sight on&amp;nbsp;your website, you should entirely deliver on your promise'.&amp;nbsp;You are losing sales from customers that are ready to pay their hard earned money for your phones on release day.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;!-- /data/user/0/com.samsung.android.app.notes/files/clipdata/clipdata_bodytext_260227_102644_890.sdocx --&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 17px;"&gt;Smiley&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>You and me both.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I didnt have the intention to upgrade but I am interested to know after 2 days if I will ever get this code. I assume not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Even though I don't want or need the code, I still feel a bit let down by the fact I have been excluded, despite taking the effort to register for the event and the promise of discount codes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But there are plenty of people that DO want to upgrade and equally forgotten. It isnt really good enough.</description>

      <description>It really isn't and for whats its worth many only wanted to upgrade BECAUSE of the discounts they can get on the Phone and Buds. They've likely lost a lot of people because of this.</description>

      <description>I have cancelled 2 orders to finally getting a discount code (£50 one) only after going through chat. It's the worst pre order debacle I've experienced since buying these Ultras and the first time I wasn't sent a pre order voucher. Worst yet is it's one of the weakest offerings in terms of goodies etc. Practically the opposite compared to the S25 launch in my view. Only positive is the online ordering forms went through without any fuss, including cancellation &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_with_tears_of_joy:"&gt;😂&lt;/span&gt;</description>

      <description>Yeah no buds and limited freebies this time. I guess the case looks ok and at least is magnetic. Not even an Gemini AI 6 month incentive. The most important double storage is probably incentive enough to make a preorder.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I guess all a sign of the times with the cost increases of silicon chips.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Last year the incentive to 'buy a voucher for £50' kind of worked ok as a promotion. Shame they didnt adopt a similar style. But to market the unpacked event for interest and not provide the promise is a bit wrong.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would suggest the main goal is to get email addresses in a marketing register is the main incentive, for these promotions.</description>

      <description>Bonkers this Community and others with similar posts, imagine the lost sales over promised voucher codes, what a disaster.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Being a folder &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_with_tears_of_joy:"&gt;😂&lt;/span&gt; like you, I did have a price in mind to tip me to the S26U, purely as a spare more as a camera, but without the sign up codes and the pre order window a week away I do wonder how many sales Samsung are missing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Add to this the Apple launch incoming and new top end devices from Chinese top tech, its going to be a crowded market.</description>

      <description>I would consider a second phone s26 ultra with insiders discounts... but i applied for that on unpacked day as well... and nothing either ! &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_with_open_mouth:"&gt;😮&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I wasnt really intending on buying right now with an ultra... but as I sold my s25u on fleabay for £850 ish back in November then i would have considered if I could have got one around that price with discounts.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I actually would rather have a discount off buds 4 pro from EPP prices... but none of that either. So I am in no rush and will continue with the buds 3 pro... or maybe even the XM6s from Sony.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a decent budget sitting waiting at the moment and an itchy finger... but if the right deal doesn't come along then I am not buying &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_with_tears_of_joy:"&gt;😂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_with_tears_of_joy:"&gt;😂&lt;/span&gt;</description>
