It can indicate if there are health problems, but until medically licensed a user would still need to seek proper medical advice to confirm if something is wrong with their health. I mean, if the watch would indicate a problem, a user should verify with the doctor.

The AGE's index (Advanced glycation end products) on Samsung watches give a sense of metabolic health which is influenced by diet and lifestyle. These are compounds that are formed when protein or fat combine with sugar in the bloodstream.

However it is still in the Labs mode, is obviously not a clinical tool but can be a useful indicator. Galaxy watches can measure it in the skin via advanced optical sensors. in the app advice is to ensure your skin is clean and dry, the sensor on the back of the watch is clean ,wear your watch snuggly and away from the wrist bone. if you have dense hair ,a tattoo, skin irritation or scar on your wrist try to position the watch to avoid these areas. Mine has been on the high side. Available on Galaxy Watch7/8.

A video with some information here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDpdqCMmMiM
