For those who are not overkeen on Plex an alternative Jellyfin will be rolling out to Samsung Tv's, only models from 2021 onwards are supported though.

Jellyfin is an open source streaming platform that allows users to stream their own video content from self hosted storage or a PC, it supports a wide range of video formats.
