According to tipster ice Universe Samsung will use the next generation Gorilla Glass on the S26 Ultra which will reduce or eliminate the need for screen protectors. The tipster indicates that the device will feature a new Corning cover glass with “ultra-high strength” along with advanced anti-reflective treatment and support for the Privacy Display feature.

of course some may still feel that it is likely a bit of a stretch.

Ive sat at a few Unpacked events and listened to Gorilla glass and others say how robust there screens are, yet without a screen protector the slightest sniff and its scratched

I ain't bothered what sort of glass they put on it. It's either a screen protector or wallet case.
