My inquisitive engineering brain needs to be fed... this nerd alert post contains the datasheet and specs of the Snapdragon Elite gen 5 SoC (System-on-Chip).

This chipset is going to be used with the S26 ultra (if reliable leaks are true). Not everyone likes to read these datasheets, but if you do here is a series of screenshots.

The problem is will Samsung pass on all the SD goodies, take audio for example the last Gen on our ZFOLD7 should have had lossless codes but Samsung choose to not allow them favouring their own inferior SSC or SBC codec.

Leaks are leaks till they become true. I watched a video on YouTube by a well known tech nerg who claims the S26ultra is going to have the Snapdragon gen 3 in it while the S26+ and the base model will have a higher chip then the Snapdragon version going have.

For the S26 ultra all reliable leaks are that the 'Elite Gen5 for galaxy' will be used in all regions. This is a specially overclocked version of the chipset.

The base S26 and S26+ however, could possibly be back to using Exynos ... in their new version 2600 in *some* regions.

There are rumours the 2600 exynos using 2nm chip design could be a good chipset... but remains to be tested / seen.

You are quite right that leaks are leaks.. but when this close to the Unpacked release date, then the leaks are typically quite accurate.

Always good to see the technicaL details, as others have said though a lot depends on the Samsung implementation.
