Leaks keep on leaking...

- Animation files from within the latest One UI 8 build give us our first look at Samsung’s tri-fold foldable

- The device features two inward-folding hinges, commonly referred to as a G-shaped fold, which is different from the S-shaped fold on devices like the HUAWEI Mate XT.

- This tri-fold foldable is rumored to be called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, and is said to be unveiled next week at Samsung Unpacked.

I'd seen this on Andriod Authority as well. Wasn't sure if you could post about something supposedly pulled from developer builds. It's just possible information from it not the actual One UI 8 files though, so I was probably being over concerned. Guessing One UI 8 stable will start rolling out to older devices within a few weeks from the Summer Unpacked Event.

I appreciate the warning if you fold it the wrong way but surely a internal hardware lock preventing one side folding in until the other had been folded in first would be an easier way to prevent damage. Maybe this exists but only starts later in the fold.

Need a good case to balance the camera bump and besel to protect the outside display when laid flat. Case manufacturers will need to make some extra parts sticking out to support the right side internal panel when it's on desk. I'd totally feel uncomfortable pushing on a slightly raised panel if it made the rest of the foldable rock. I hate it with a stylus.

JerryRigEverything will be preparing his evil dirt and hardness tests now 😂. Hopefully it puts in an impressive show on the bend test. I've seen a couple of slightly longer term (Still new to me) Edge tests by YouTubers show a slight bow at the power button now. Doesn't seem widespread which is really promising though.

Won't be long now till it's all official. This would make sense to be a G Fold Ultra.

Wow, well done Samsung but I think maybe it could fold two ways so it could be used as 1 screen 2 screen and 3 screen instead of 1 screen then 3

I'd rather as it is as the inner displays are so soft I'd want it protected when not in use as a monitor with the kickstand. A strong outer glass display is practical.

No I mean like it opens one way but then you can close one screen the other way to make it two screen and having two screens at the back at the same time. Then you close it so the inner screen is protected
