I received a highly suspicious message claiming to be an "URGENT Account Verification Notice for Samsung" based on alleged international legislation (International Act No. S67 EU-DIG-ID-2025).

🚨 Key Red Flags & Why This Is a Phishing Scam

Fake Urgency & Threats: It uses aggressive language like "MANDATORY requirement," "24 hours" deadline, and threats of account/device suspension and a "$500 fine." Scammers use fear to make you act without thinking.
Suspicious Link: The verification link provided is Verify: ristek.link/samsungverification432. Official Samsung websites will always use a genuine samsung.com domain. This ristek.link is clearly fake.
Non-Existent Legislation: "International Act No. S67 EU-DIG-ID-2025" is entirely fabricated. There is no such law.
Bad Grammar/Clunky Language: Phrases like "personal identification of internet platform users" and "our company may impose a fine of up to $500 on you" sound unprofessional and out of place for a legitimate company notice.

DO NOT click the link.
DO NOT reply to the sender.
Delete the message immediately.
If you are genuinely concerned about your Samsung account, go directly to the official Samsung website or use the official Samsung app to log in and check your account status. Never use a link from an unsolicited message.

I've had a couple of messages this week asking questions that really should be in the Public Forum.

I won't answer such questions in DM, merely guiding the user to post publicly but I'm aware some Members Stars and maybe others do.
