How do I add QR code loyalty cards to Samsung wallet

Lots of loyalty cards and memberships going to QR codes and I cannot find a way to get them into Samsung wallet audit them being converted to standard barcode which don't work.

Samsung wallet seems to be way behind Google wallet in supporting cards like this and importing from images. Anyone managed to import a QR code as a QR code?

Yes, with camera its easy and simple and fast to do, even with screenshots. If screenshots aren't allowing you to, Add to Google Wallet and screenshot the loyalty card from there since there's no security screenshot things on Google wallet. 🙏

I used a screenshot of the new Sainsbury's card and it converted the QR code into a super long barcode. It does not seem to support QR codes as loyalty cards

Ahh I see, as I've seen there's no possible way to disable the converting I guess its just barcodes. I mean one time it didnt conver not sure why 😅

Samsung do not support qr code loyalty cards officially. I'm gong to have to revert back to Google 😩 Here is response to my issue....

The problem you are experiencing is due to a limitation in how Samsung Wallet currently handles loyalty cards. The app primarily supports standard barcodes, not QR codes. When you scan the new Sainsbury's QR code, Samsung Wallet attempts to convert the data into a linear barcode, which is incompatible with Sainsbury's scanners.

You cannot create a scannable QR code for a loyalty card within the Samsung Wallet app itself.

For further assistance you will need to contact the Sainsbury's support team directly, as they manage their loyalty program details.
