S25 Ultra came out months after the 16 Pro Max. So why did 16 Pro use the new AMOLED and Samsung's own device didn't?
Apple used Titanium so Samsung copied and used Titanium. Except Apple used a metal diffusion bonding to bond the aluminium inner frame to the titanium outer frame. Samsung just used glue. Apple chamfered and polished the frame, Samsung just left it looking bare and cheap.
Apple used polished coloured frame on their older models so Samsung did too. Except I saw countless posts of people's flagship S phones having the colour peeling from the shiny aluminium frame. I also see countless posts of the glue on the back glass panel peeling on S phones and battery swelling. Barely seen that about iPhones
My S10's water resistant seal degraded in less than 3 years and died when I dropped it in a bath. My brother's old iPhone X seal was absolutely fine when he accidently dropped it in a swimming pool.
Samsung phones are cheaply made. And it's sad given the price
I like Samsung's software and Android as a whole. But I am jealous of Apple's build quality and hand feel of the phones. Also jealous of how good their low light video and photos are. On my S23U the videos have very low frame frame when there's low light. In the same environment my brother's 13 Pro Max looks good and much less grainy

Exynos 2600 for the S26 Series?

Looking more likely than ever the new S26 series phones will have the Exynos 2600 chipsets
Samsung must be pretty confident about performance with these to use them. Be interested to see.

Not confirmed obviously, but looking like it will be

https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-just-basically-confirmed-exynos-2600-for-the-galaxy-s26-series/?utm_source=telegram

Certainly looks like it, not everyone will be happy but the 2600 is an advancement and the indications looking impressive. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sammyfans.com/2025/10/29/faster-exynos-2600-returns-performance-scores/amp/

Yes i have been seeing supposed leaked specs and it does sound like its going to be a powerhouse of a chip.
There will be the Snapdragon fans and won't be happy.
But id just want the best available and if that's Exynos. Then im happy

Well from what I've read so far, it's supposed to surpass the current Snapdragon chipset.
With all this speculation. Im getting really interested and want to know more.
Can't wait 😊

It's not going to beat Snapdragon. It will be cheaper for Samsung to use but they won't reduce the cost of the phones for buyers. I might just buy an iPhone 17 Pro Max as an upgrade from my S23U. I was excited for the S26U but Samsung just wanna save money everywhere they can.

All companies try and save money
Truth is as yet we don't know the specifics of the chipsets as they are all rumours
Could be the ultra still keeps the Snapdragon again
Don't know why you'd think the iPhone is better
The 17 Pro i have, the software on mine like many others is buggy. Cell service is not great either.
Personally like most others Exynos chipsets work fine.
But will see come the Unpacked Event time for more details

You're right they do, but Samsung is charging more than Apple for their flagships these days. While just copying designs and having worse builds materials and quality. They even gave Apple the new M14 AMOLED panel while Samsung used the inferior M13 panel. If they lowered the price of the phones then I wouldn't have an issue. But they're flagships with corners being cut in too many places

Apple has cut corners as well.
Gone is the titanium frame for a much cheaper aluminium. Along with a cheaper paint finish.
Apple AI is still appallingly bad.
On top of all the software issues . They are masters of marketing.
Apple may have a newer version of screen, partly because the S25 series phones are older now. But Apple dont really make the best use of it. My S25 Ultra still looks better.
S25 Ultra is just more of a phone than the IPhone

But if that's what you prefer then fine.
Im sure I will get the S26 Ultra if that's what it will be called, and will enjoy it like i do with the S25 Ultra.
