Future Samsung phones will come equipped with UFS 5.0 storage though not quite yet,Samsung previousy said it will be able to commercialise the stortage by 2027. The next wage of Android phones could utilse UFS 4.1 storage. UFS 5.0 is stated to Double the processing speed and reliabilty over 4.0.

The next generation UFS storage will bring the following features:

Increased sequential performance up to 10.8 GB/s to meet AI demands

Integrated link equalization for more reliable signal integrity

Distinct power supply rail to provide noise isolation between PHY and memory subsystem, easing system integration

Inline Hashing for greater security
