The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, launching early next year, features a 50MP 5x foldable zoom camera supplied by new partner MC Nex, who joins Samsung Electromechanics and Sunny Optical after quality concerns with Sunny Optical; the device also includes a 10MP 3x telephoto camera by Power Logics, a 200MP main sensor by Samsung Electromechanics, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera. The phone’s design sees slightly curved corners and a slimmer body at 7.9mm thickness, with a camera bump of 4.5mm. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, it offers enhanced performance and near-lossless video recording. The S Pen is redesigned for better ergonomics but without Bluetooth, focusing on simplicity. The new M14 OLED display brings improved clarity, lower power use, and a privacy feature called Flex Magic Pixel. Charging speed has been boosted to 60W to balance quick charge and battery life. This upgrade strategy highlights Samsung’s aim to refine technologies and maintain its flagship edge amid competition.
