Rare Case of Serious Battery Swelling on Galaxy Ring

A Tech creator was denied Boarding a flight due to the major Battery swelling on their Galaxy Ring which meant it was stuck on finger,the Ring could only be removed by a medical professional. This appears to be a rare occurance though noticed there have been reports of Battery swelling on Tech sites. proviso is that the Device was exposed to salt water and the heat in Hawaii may also have been a factor plus the fact that a Battery issue was apparent beforehand.

Seen this the other day, looks painful, also on every wearable devices it's mentioned that you should avoid salt water by any means.

Yes it is important to take precautions and to heed appropriate advice. Salt water is corrosive.

Lol I totally brutalised the Ring i had for a month, regular weekly spa, swim, sauna sessions, wasn't phased at all.

Yes way beyond design intent but an actual experience.

samsung phones have had loads of swelling (as most of u probably know lol) but its kinda crazy that they still havent properly sorted that, R.I.P to the person who couldnt catch their flight 😭
