A Few Useful Features With One UI 8.5

Apparently One Ui 8.5 may bring a few useful Features, particularly NFC File sharing. Leaks have suggested that this would be added to quick share, Devices detected via NFC and connected via WiFi Direct which is much faster than Bluetooth. However expected to be experimental. Other features suggested include Private Display Mode and Automatic Call Screening.

However this is all speculative at the moment.

There's a video that shows the new things, etc, but it's not official by any means, seems like people keeps getting test build versions as soon as they pop into Samsung's servers dont think that video credible but then once again who knows. 🤔

Nfc file sharing? ANDROID BEAM IS RETURNING. It's been a feature since the early days of android. It was removed quite a while ago, funny to see it making a return.

It is not publicly available yet. Possibly there will be a Beta but do not have anything definitive on that. Stable release likely to start rolling out in January.

Latest information suggests the Beta will be available by Mid December. Obviously 2026 for the stable release.
