S 26 Ultra leaks and possible next year's line of phones outlines.

This is just leaks, Samsung has not released official information on next year's devices yet.

Yeah, I don't wanna see a new design from Samsung, I really do think they have the best design at this point; I do like the Pixel's design but overall I would choose Samsungs.

I'd like to see an increase in battery capacity but if they can deliver more battery life & in a slightly thinner phone I don't mind, I do wanna see Samsung make the Camera sensors in all of the cameras bigger, even if we have a slight decrease in Megapixels.

Ahhhh we can all enjoy the unified design language of the camera island enhanced phone wobble. Nice..... wait a minute 😂 (All good I'll just case it)

I hope a slightly better than 12MP upgrade comes to the 3x but unless Samsung upgrade the standard image size I don't see that happening with it set at 12.5MP for third party and a better lens while easier would change the unbalanced iconic design language (Do it! It would be exciting to treat the 3x fairly).

A lowlight bump is always good but without a variable aperture for refinement elsewhere, it's not a balanced approach. If Samsung properly take advantage of some computational photography techniques they could improve the sharpness back while doing this but it's not ideal.

I'm hoping to hear rumours of a larger vapour chamber somehow as it becomes more important as you go thinner to offset how fast device material heat saturation throttling kicks in. Improvement here would also help the foldables it should be a key design consideration.

Indeed, I would love to see a the 3x upgraded to 4x actually, while also having the 5x upgraded to 8x.

It won't happen Samsung have dropped 10x twice now. A 4x and 10x would be a killer setup though. TBH just anything 7x+ would be nice.

I heard a rumour it was they found people liked zooming to 5x even when they had 10x so they optimised at 5. Not sure I believe that though.

I don't mind if Samsung changes up their phone designs, but as long as they don't copy the iPhone. I think the Pixel 10 line from Google looks a lot like an iPhone because of those rounded corners, and I think you're right too. The Ultra phones should be the inspiration for how Samsung phones look. I hope Samsung keeps an elegant look; I really like how the S 10 Series and Note 20 series look.

I'm sure Samsung phones will keep having tons of features, as they always have.

I agree, good sensors matter more than more megapixels, I believe larger, better aperture and keeping the telephoto lense would be a good choice. The telephoto camera on the S25 Edge, camera takes very good sharp pictures.

I think it would be good to have a long lasting battery and I think it will depend also on which CPU and cooling chamber and coating materials they are going to use with that.

That design was used on all Apple phones in one way or another and also Xiaomi used that design on their Poco line and some other Chinese brands on their mobiles, pleas Samsung don't use it.🙈🙈🙈

I believe Samsung will come with some innovation in the camera hardware and I am sure they will come with new things regarding picture processing and AI and keep it a pocket studio.

It's too late likely it came in with the popular Fold 7 (Also Edge) so it's already given itself the green light inadvertently.

They are currently sitting on camera hardware feature improvements they made for the sensors initially back for the S23U that still aren't software enabled so they already have more capability. They took a massive initial lead but are falling in certain areas now. I just wish they took the come out all guns blazing approach not drip feeding features to not feel too far off the competition to keep iterating it.

The 5x zoom from 10x on the S23U was a awful downgrade for the S24U, it's what makes the phone struggle with sharpness. I still don't know what Samsung thought when they did that lol I hope they will never drop below 10 x again.

😒 I hope Samsung will find a way to still look like Samsung though, however all the phones with powerful cameras have some kind of square, circle or triangle on the back, most of them are prominent.

The S25 Edge doesn't have a tele lens. It's the S24U's Ultra Wide 😐 and the standard 22mm 200MP 😀.

The sensor's photosites size matters more for low light and resolution for post-cropping/ perceived sharpness. You can also boost optical sharpness by the lens but this opposes its low light performance. Everything is always a balanced compromise.

The sharp Note look was iconic Samsung to me, I associate the weird camera arrangement of the Ultras with Samsung too so I get it's recognisable it's just not the most balanced design limiting the 3x.

I always lived with the impression that S25 Edge has a telephoto lense, I don't know why, but you are right about the specs. It takes great photos that's for sure.

I agree about the balanced design, but when i look at some other brands cameras arrangements I just think they look weird lol

I think everyone expects some degree of camera upgrade for the S26 series, some rumours say that the S26 Ultra will have a 300 MP camera.🙈🤭

Oh totally they can be really random which isn't aesthetically pleasing. I'd forgive any phone though if it was really functional. Samsung's problem is it's all one side so it will wobble like an iPhone which sort of helps give space for fingers but you learn how best to hold any device with use. The Pixel bar fixed that and it doesn't seem to be as bad on Xiaomi for example just due to the sheer size of the central circle island.

Samsung already have better cameras the MX department just sells them to other brands now. This shows that design is higher up the consideration for Samsung than functionality. They make some amazing sensors, they just don't use them.
