So far we've seen nee rendering of new s26 series designs and yet it seems like its going to "apple way" obviously we have to wait and see what apple will bring new but designs almost confirmed by multiple sources do you guys think this new camera design and more slim body would make you upgrade or even consider it?

Looks like every other company going to this design.

What,your thoughts on this?

We have to wait and see after apple releases if they going to go with this design i believe a lot of companies will "join"

Also there's a lot of rumours of next ultra devices being exinos which would make no sense 🤔

And also of the apple finally reveals their fold it would open eyes for millions of people and foldables would become as mainstream phones as your ultra one i assume. 🤐 guess we'll have to wait and see 👀

With how many iphones I see that are cracked or damaged, a folding iphone is going to be very interesting to see

Yes indeed, keep in mind LG and Samsung would be delivering screens to them as it would take apple like at least 10 year's to came up with their own screens lol..

All jokes aside if they will reveal foldable it will be really great impact on foldables in general as Samsung most likely will be screen provider as they've been for years and years for apple and they would advertise more, meaning more profit margins to foldables and more interest into them.

whatever the speculation would be surprised if the Ultras went down the Exynos route, could see a case with the other models. Whilst advancements have been made some customers would see a move away from Snapdragon to be a negative and not sure it would make Business sense.

Could not say I am that impressed with the top design, though suppose companies are going for some similarities to entice customers. Whilst there are a number of factors to consider with Smartphones would not particularly excite me.

I have to agree on this, James. I think we've all seen camera module pop off, which would make more interesting and obviously more difficult for engineers from "leaks" not necessarily it will be truth but it looks like an interesting concept

I think the outer 2 have the camera bump with the lenses sticking out further so as to allow for a thinner phone. The middle one would look to be the edge but the large camera bump makes no sense. As regards the Exynos processor, I think we would have had it on the S Series this year if Samsung could have made enough. Luckily the yield was low so we escaped and got the Snapdragon. It looks like the plus model could be no more.

I don't think the potential Edge design is really to my taste. If the extra bump had an external purpose perhaps it would be alright it looks a little awkward to me, Probably less wobbly 🙏 for no case users though. Also this would work with current wireless battery packs much better than having a current slight angle on the Ultra I have to do to use the 5x lens.

Personally I don't find the Ultra camera setup as aesthetic as the standard 3 camera bar either but I totally accept it as I appreciate the functionality first and I'm looking at the screen so it has zero impact to me in daily use. The best phone is the one with the least compromises not the fanciest AI.

If I'm honest I genuinely like functionality of other Andriods that you can fit a standard 67mm camera filter on but that's as I put functionality first. They just don't have the OS to match it which is key in daily use.

100% you can have as much space as needed to use older battery tech then too if they prefer.

I have to case my phones because of the cameras as I frequently have them on a desk flat when I'm working and it's annoying to press the wobble. Functionality over design 🙏

Foldables already are a higher interest segment (just shame they are only 2% annually, it's slab phones that actually matter) as they have a higher possibility of users buying a future model due to more noticeable changes to restore standard usability needs that is already inherent while somehow less interesting on slab phones and less durable design improving update cycles. I'm more interested in how repairs are accessibly handled next year, I feel like thinner designs are likely to make this harder with more overlapping components.

Best camera set up was the Note 20 Ultra and the seamless camera from S22 Ultra.
