Hello,

I'm gonna be writing my experience being on the Samsung ecosystem and switching back to Samsung in April 2024. Before switching back to Android/Samsung, I got the iPhone 15 Pro Max. For the first few months, it felt great, but I did miss the feel of Android compared to iOS being so limited with customizability.

I then watched reviews of the Samsung S24 Ultra and I loved the boxy design and the shape of it. OneUI looked great, and the camera performance was outstanding. I then switched to the S24 Ultra in early April last year when issues started on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I was thrilled with my new purchase. I fell in love with what Samsung had to offer. I then bought a Watch 6 Classic and was very happy with how well Samsung Health was compared with Apple Health & Fitness. Samsung Health has many more workout presets compared to Apple Fitness.

My only experience prior to the S24 Ultra was my S20 Ultra in 2020, which I disliked massively and ended up getting rid of it when the Pixel 6 Pro came out, due to the Exynos which was in the European model.

I tried my Pixel 6 Pro the other day when I joined Android 16 beta, and oh my god, I cannot lie, PixelUI is not as good as OneUI. They lack a lot of customizability which Samsung doesn't lack with Good Lock.

I don't think I will ever switch from Samsung devices now. I am in love with their whole ecosystem and what they have to offer. All their devices work so well and fluidly.

I own a lot of Samsung products now: S25 Ultra, S24 Ultra, Fold 6, Tab S9 Ultra, Watch Ultra, and Watch 6 Classic. I will most likely buy some new stuff this year when Unpacked has happened. I wanna buy more Samsung appliances in my home so I can have a wider Samsung ecosystem eventually.

Thank you reading my post!

Im like you, I just love the whole Samsung system with my Fold 5 and S25 Ultra
I have a 16 Pro Max and Pixel 7 Pro
Iphone unfortunately is a necessary evil sadly.
But I just can't warm to the iPhone or Pixel. Just too basic for me.
Love all the features of my Samsung phones. Things from customisations to camera settings etc

How come you have to own an iPhone? I suppose it is work related, exactly I couldn't warm to them after, even more so I have used S24/25 ultra, I have used iPhones 16 & 16 Pro setting them up for family. But they just seem boring and plain, nothing much has changed on them just a few new things that have been Android / Samsung phones for years.

I hate the fact you can't remove the Google Search bar & the Date on the Pixel homescreen such a basic and you can't do it!

I love my Fold 6, but I dislike the narrow front screen unfolded, massively.

Yeah partly work related as it's a work app only on apple
But also family stuff as well. But I'm making plans to get rid of it as I just don't like iOS.
Yeah it's strange how you can do nothing with that search bar on the Pixel. Can't resize it or move it

Interesting to see the comparisons, obviously you have had experience with a variety of brands, glad you are now impressed with the Samsung Ecosystem which in my view is more innovative and the advantages of customisation. Whilst O have some experience of iphones was a while ago now. The main other ones previously for me were HTC and Nokia.

Lovely to hear your story. I also had S20 Ultra back in the day, but i loved the phone, only thing I had to endure was the Exynos chipset, slow and also over heating, but the phone served me well, can't say it didn't. Didn't go to Apple as I was enjoying several Samsung apps and the camera, which now Apple had back than. Now I have a couple of Samsung phones too, plus keeping the old ones as well, because they are still good phones. Also recently got Samsung Tab S9 plus from Ebay and it's a great device, changed my life for the better.

Indeed, I love trying out brands and seeing what sticks and what I like, but the isn't much I dislike about Samsung. A few small things but you can't love everything 100%. But Samsung does definitely love listening to their customers about beta software .

I never goto use HTC, my grandad has the Nokia windows phone, but we shalt bring that up. 😄

I know the s20 Ultra chipset was really bad in Europe, I wish we got snapdragon like other places got! I never really owned any anything other than Apple, before 2020. I was just locked in their ecosystem but Samsung is my favorite brand out there.

I would buy a Samsung Laptop, but I hate the numpad on it 😢, I really dislike numpads on laptops, but they also have good line of laptops for the price.
