Yes. Honor's Silicon carbon battery material comes from a company called Group14 Technologies. ATL — Samsung's minority battery manufacturer that was partially responsible for the Note 7 issues — manufactures the silicon carbon batteries in China.

Samsung recently purchased Group14 so I think the earliest we will see si/c batteries is on the tri-fold at the end of the year and the latest we will see them is on the Z8. Group14 also supplies Xiaomi with their si/c battery material. I assume the same goes for Huawei.

I think we'd need to see more durability for these batteries really.
The expansion rates of the silicone do worry me a bit.
That said its a burgeoning technology and development works very fast.
So I can see them coming in Samsung phones in the next couple of years

Looks like this is the future, according to unofficial sources that quote Korean sources.
I found this online.
• Samsung's Galaxy S26 phones could use silicon carbon batteries
• These could provide capacities of up to 7,000mAh, according to a new report
• Silicon carbon batteries look set to be the future of phone batteries
A report from Korean-language website FNNews claims that Samsung is considering a move to silicon-carbon batteries for its next-generation Galaxy phones, which could see battery capacities leap from 4,000mAh and 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh and 7,000mAh
https://www.techradar.com/phones/samsung-galaxy-phones/samsung-galaxy-s26-could-get-a-major-battery-upgrade-that-makes-it-worth-waiting-for

I think if Samsung put the Exynox 2400 which is very potent or they make a new Exynox generation they are good to launch another line of super phones and tablets.
