Did see that but people should use it with caution.

Although no has reported any issues so far and it's not available for some it still has a potential of bricking your phone display.

I won't be trying it out .

That page is mainly for the spen system in ultra devices. Wacom make drawing tablets, they make the spen tech.

I wouldn't exactly say it's harmful, because I've never actually seen an update come out. Checking for updates basically just says "yup, up to date". So it doesn't do anything. If you shut your phone off mid check, maybe it bricks it

The update files are stored within the phone, not gotten from online. Meaning during a system update is when new wacom updates appear and probably auto install

S25u here so decent chance it just has never had an update

Look closely. Phones version will be the latest update contained within the phone software.

Part version will be the display/firmware chip. Updating puts whatever is on the phone onto the chip.
Further down, kernel image is the update within android.

Wacom ic will be the wacom chip.

Updating sets the kernel update into the chip.

Note all of the pairs match. No updates are avaliable.

Don't have older ultra devices to really check or test. Would be nice if someone could get a screenshot showing updates are actually a thing. Even in the tutorial linked, all the numbers match showing no update

I would rather not play with changing the screen resolution. Today I was checking if there was a bug with the lock screen delay on FHD+ resolution. When I was convinced that there was, I went back to QHD+ resolution, but then another bug happened to me. I opened my favorite game and the first thing I noticed was that the home screen was moved to the right, that I had a 1 cm bar to the left and I couldn't see the right side of the game, as if I had opened the game on a laptop, not on my phone. I barely left the game, I forced the game to stop and cleared the cache, cleared the RAM memory and only then the game started normally. After that, I came across this video. And I can say that the mobile is noticeably faster

Yes, I noticed same version, 😃,but still, when you tap refresh wi-fi, the phone is really faster after starting it.

I was on a mobile connection when I typed in this code. I didn't immediately tap the update buttons like a donkey. This code turned on wi-fi

The wifi one yeah. That might be quite useful. Will need to so some more tests to make sure it's not just a placebo.

Also thinking about it. It also makes people reboot their phones. Good chance a reboot speeds things up lol
