Seems they are now paving the way for no charge port if wireless charging is available.

So now we will end up with USB C in land fill, like it's predecessors.

I hate wireless charging, so much is lost in heat.

I've recently started using the 15w promotional charger that came with S25 Ultra review.

I like it being slow when I'm charging overnight. For any other time, no, it is far too slow.

I doubt it will change for at least a decade or so, or until they create a fast wireless charging station that is.

Seems to be linked to Apple wanted even slimer devices, sadly Samung may have beaten them with the Edge.

Fast wireless charging is quick, but it's the wasted energy in heat and for me beyond charging, say Android Auto wireless overheats my phone, so I deactivate it and use USB C.

Not the biggest fan of wireless charging for reasons already mentioned, sure there will be improvements down the line but would like to be in charge 😁. Not going to be change in the near future though I would imagine.
