Qualcomm and Google offering Extended Support To OEM's

News that Qualcomm partnering with Google have offered Device Manufactures (OEM's)| the ability to offer extended software support (8 years) on Android Devices launched with the Snapdragon Elite 8. it specifically includes two upgrades to the Mobile platform Android Common Kernel to support the extra year. Therefore speculation that the 8 year policy will apply to the S25 series, it is up to the companies concerned though and so not confirmed.

Yes it includes the 7 series chips which launch later this year.

Anyway, Samsung is the one who promised 7 years of OS and security upgrades for the S24 series 😋
