Well! As someone who lives in Northern Ireland, it's safe to say I've just been deafened by the UKs emergency broadcast systems.

A severe warning was just broadcasted across NI and UK? And it was very LOUD. But oh well, atleast we know it works!

I turned off that feature.

Got annoying in South Korea as they sent out a few of them there.

Certainly wakes you up 😂

I think the one with sirens was bypassed, as a family member of mine turned theirs off and it still came through. Definitely scary and certainly very very loud (Especially when your phones right beside your ear😂)

I wonder how that works for those who are in situations where they aren't meant to have a phone (DV relationships for example). Could be that the family member only turned off the text warning of it but I'm not sure as they received the sirens

Even if you have your device on silent, you'll still receive one as it gets bypassed like the last one they did when testing it last year. So you'll still hear it if it's for your area tomorrow the North and West of the UK.

Yes, I got that too. Very loud people were telling me about it, and I got it shortly after on my personal and work phones simultaneously.

I remember some people turning this off for various personal reasons however it really can be a useful option to have on @UNKNOWNUSERNAME

Yea people in DV Relationships were advised to turn it off in last years warning/test. But in the event of the UK getting nuked, I'd much rather not know 😂
