They also just need to bite the bullet of pride and just adopt dolby vision. The Panasonic offers all three formats and was also a backer of hdr10+

No sign of Dolby Vision at the moment though. Micro LED's have created buzz despite lack of support for the format. One review here:https://www.techradar.com/televisions/i-tried-samsungs-new-small-oled-tv-and-its-a-winner-despite-lacking-dolby-vision-hdr

Thanks, I have the Panasonic LZ1500 series and Sony A90J with have a lot of calibration settings and have spears and munil to test with (all three editions) along with other test pattern I use to fine tune the settings. I know things are improving but read Micro led is still a little way off. Bonding two oled panels like the iPad pro to increase brightness will be the next thing with the added qd oled or mla panels.

This will become the same situation as with the f9000 tv which was advertised as future proof with interchangeable one connect boxes and after 3 years the boxes were discontinued. Samsung were taken to court for false advertising. Samsungs fight was the screen was obsolete so relevant software is no longer compatible

Not quite,Samsung is unifying its products lines from 2025 and One Ui will come to Tvs. However likely to sit on top of Tizen rather than moving to Android Tv.
