Mobiles, Watches, Earbuds - Who uses them swimming, sauna, steam room

Just looking to gauge how many Samsung users live dangerously or is it just Apple users, as that's all I see in a 60C, 80C Sauna, super hot steam room, cold dip pool and Jacuzzi.

Apple specifications say upto 55C, Samsung 35C.

Me I never let my mobiles, smart watches or earbuds near any water.

I'm on the same boat, keep my devices away from water, tested watch ultra in shower seemed fine but wouldn't experiment going swimming or sauna with any of my devices.

I also keep my devices away from water. Water resistant isn't quite water proof for me 😂

For sure, even it says IP68 water resistant I still don't buy it and play it on safe side 😆

Same as you guys, I keep away all of my devices from water. Sometimes, accidentally, I take a shower with my watch on 😂, but there's no problem.

Watch: swimming pool (not sea), no sauna, no hot tub etc

Phone: totally submerged only in a water proof case, rain and light splashes, sure...

Earbuds: only in rain..! ☔

Feeling inadequate peeps vs. Apple users, using iPhone watches and Airpods, most likely me start 60C, then 80C Sauna, then low and hot Steam room, super cold dip pool.

Maybe Apple has a long queue of repairs 😮

Personally, I do not want my mobile in the Sauna, Jacuzzi, as there to relax, maybe Watch for time.

Maybe Apple users are more confident in their products and or the warranty repair, or just more money than sense.

From my previous experience if they see if it's too much to replace or fix they just give you new device as they can't be bothered with it. And you got that right they tend to have long queues of repairs 😆

Good point, when I added Applecare plus for my sisters IPhone it was fairly generous and as you say mentioned you just get a swap.

I googled IPhone and Samsung Sauna use, seems the iPhone has a overheat mode, when reached it shows a warning and you can't use the device until it cool down.

Does reinforce Apple aftercare is miles ahead of Samsung, just by being able to walk in and get it sorted, without endless nit picking.

Have to agree with that if something wrong they just replace it without any further questions, also have remotly service where you on the phone with their customer service and they acces you phone remotly and can fix issue just like that without going to store or anything unless it's hardware related

I use my Pixel Watch and Samsung Watch 6 in the local leisure centre, not had any problems thus far 👍

Entirely agree. There are a lot more apple stores around, compared to samsung experience stores.

However if samsung could up their game to the level of Apple aftercare, then it would make a whole lot of difference in terms of service.

Ideally you would wish that if you could manage to get to a major experience store in London or likewise and willing to pay the excesses, then a phone swap would be a far more acceptable method (for those that pay for Samsung Care+).

I usually pay for Care+ for the 2 year period, although I sit with baited breath and hope i have no issues. It gives reassurance if warranty is declined, but often takes 3 or 4 weeks to get things resolved.

I am an all out samsung fan and have been for 10 or more years, but the one thing that hurts is reading the amount of bad experiences on this forum that really do put samsung to shame at times. 😮 !

I got Samsung Care Plus with my ZFOLD3 was a waste, offered nothing at all different than the standard repair process which is slow, worrisome and usually fleeced by the 3rd party repairer.
