This was accessing my camera.

My concern is to what end and for what purpose?

I'm not looking for answers to disable it ,I've already locked up it's ability to do any harm.

I just thought I'd give the originators a chance to explain this and help me not feel that this is a violation of my privacy . If this is my phone then there shouldn't be anything going on without my knowledge. If I Don't have control of my phone then you should be paying me to carry around your product in my pocket Instead of me paying for it!

Allowing permission to allow access to your camera for Samsung members just allows you to post images if needed. You can send photography images or images of issues you experience. It can help others to help you with any issues.

You could always uninstall it if you so worried

Hi @GEMINIBANDIT ,

Fiona26 is along the right lines. The camera permission is for enabling the direct use of the camera for a profile pic/avatar.

Edit: It'll be the same for anything that requires direct use of the camera to upload a pic on Members.
