just purchased and new tv and soundbar, hwt-60t, tv is samsung qe55q80t

got it all set up hmdi earc to hmdi earc, playing about with the setting, but somehow the sub woofer, does not give out much of a rubble, volume set to 6, when watching sky movies Top Gun

anyone got a suggestion

Same here subwoofer barely produces any sound. Such a joke... What the heck...

I connected it to the 42" Q60 QLED TV, and had the same issue. Move the HDMI cables around, was about to give up, then plugged in a high-quality HDMI cable from Amazon. Then it worked. Had good sound the first few days until ( based on advice from Samsung Support updated the firmware on the soundbar. After the upgrade, I think the sound is simply awful.

That's shocking... for such a big brand. They produce too many products designed for the bin...
