UE40MU6400 TV and Wireless Speaker Guidance

Hi,

I have bought my father the Samsung UE40MU6400 TV for Christmas for his bedroom. As the TV will be wall mounted about 3.5 to 4m away from him I'd like to set it up with a wirelkess speaker to have beside or above the bed so that he doesnt have to have the TV so loud at night it keeps others awake.

Either Bluetooth or Wifi or other, can someone give me any specific suggestions about good options to use for this set up. He's not an audiofile, and in his 70s so reliability and ease of use are key as much as decent audio quality.

If smart speakers - Alexa / Google/ Samsung etc are an option and can help him control TV without picking up remote that would also be a good option.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Slightly off topic for this section of the forum - Im also looking for an ultra thin (thinest possible) TV wall mount if anyone has any suggestions.

(Im in the UK so looking for UK available options).
