3d Blueray player HT-ES6600 cannot read 3D Discs

Hi Team, I have a HT-ES6600 and today the BlueRay-Player cannot read 3D Discs anymore. I can hear that the drive turns and the Laser-head moves, but after a while it ejects the disk with a message, that cannot read.

Do you have any experience on this issue? What can I do to try to fix or may be clean the laser head ?

Hi @Frigi Welcome to the Samsung Community 😀

Check you have the latest firmware 1024.0, this though was last updated in 2016. Presumably you have a compatible Tv and that us also on latest update. Are the discs clean and not showing any sign of damage, is the HDMI cable connected properly and no issue with that. You may need to check the 3D settings in the Blu Ray Menu as shown in the Manual.

However if all OK there and not resolved best to try a Reset. Press and hold the stop Button on the Remote for 5 seconds in standby Mode and Reset.

However it is a 2012 model and could be hardware issue, repair on such a machine would be unlikely to be viable and the parts may not be available in any case.🙏
