Portable blue ray player SE-506 now not working with blue ray

My Samsung se-506 blue ray reader/writer was working with windows 10 and now does not recognise blue ray discs. Ordinary DVD and Cd work ok. Cyberlink test for blue ray says "Software player not found". Has a windows update caused this? Where can I get updated drivers and firmware please? I have Cyberlink powerdvd and have now updated to latest version but the situation is the same. I see that many others have reported the same problem but not any solution.

Dude- really!? Yes the answer is here, so why not say what the answer is rather, than have us trawl though pages of responses?
Basically, there's not enough power going to the device. Use the short USB cable that came with the device, or use a Y-cable that provides double USB power. No extra drivers needed.
